If you don’t know the reason that why Samsung Galaxy S6 don’t have the microSD card slot is the speed of internal memory is too fast (it is the latest technology developed by Samsung this year) and Samsung would be providing these modules to other manufactures as well. And the synching problem caused the no microSD card state in the Samsung Galaxy S6 but now Samsung engineers started their homework, Samsung would be taking the speed of Galaxy S7 internal memory to the next level plus they would arrange the microSD card slot some how, because people are yelling for it.
In the new Samsung Galaxy S6, thanks to the new NAND-memory UFS 2.0 from Samsung speed storage system should noticeably increase. UFS – a serial interface. It seems that it displaces popular standard eMMC (at least in flagship devices), which uses 8-bit parallel interface, whose controller must execute commands as they are received. According to Samsung, sequential read speed of 350 MB / s write – 150 MB / s. That is, as compared with the standard eMMC 5.0 successive operations are performed in 1.4-1.7-fold faster. Random read speed of 19,000 IOPS, and records – 14,000 IOPS. So, you can see already Samsung achieved the interesting figures in the speed for the Galaxy S6 and now Samsung is taking it to the next stage with the Samsung Galaxy S7 release date.
Last year, inherited from the line Galaxy S5 Active function of protection against dust and moisture level of IP67. Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S6, this feature is not preserved. Given that the smartphone Sony Xperia use protection standard IP67 with similar design of glass and metal, it is likely that in the near future we will see a version of the Galaxy S6 Active with protection against dust and water. But in case of Samsung Galaxy S7, it should come waterproof in original versions only, because people would curse themselves who are buying Galaxy S6 now and later there would be waterproof version.
Luckily, the biometric authentication function, fingerprint scanner, which Samsung uses in S5, had low accuracy and false denials, and although the next software update considerably improved the usefulness of this feature, it never falls short in performance and convenience to the level of Apple Touch ID. In Samsung Galaxy S6 Samsung replaced the capacitive touch sensor, which is much more convenient to use. Instead of awkward finger now just put your finger on the sensor. So, the changes required in the Samsung Galaxy S7 include presence of microSD card, waterproof characteristics and removable battery and list goes on. Samsung has done nice try to impress its fan with Samsung Galaxy S6 but we want more from the Samsung Galaxy S7.
